PRIVATE HOUSING TALK – Monday 8th March, 4.30pm followed by BUTTERY in the Common Room at 8pm

  • A great event to find out how to get started when looking for private accommodation. Designed for first years in halls.
  • 4.30pm- Exhibition starts in the Tower Rooms
  • 6pm- Talk about Private Housing given by the Student Accommodation Centre in the Great Hall
  • 7.30pm- Event closes. Hurry over to the Common Room for the BUTTERY!

MEET THE CANDIDATES – Tuesday 9th March, 7pm

  • Sabbatical election fever has started! The sabbaticals represent you and make day-to-day decisions about the Union and your life at the College. They’re being elected in the next week, so it’s important that you vote, and vote wisely!
  • This is your chance to meet the candidates in the Southside Social Space. Grill them on whatever you like- Felix, the bars, welfare and accommodation- it’s up to you. This is a unique opportunity for freshers to shape aspects of the future of the College.
  • FREE food and beer!
  • Manifestos will appear in Felix this Friday and on the Elections Website so try and read them beforehand to know what the candidates are all about.

CHLAMYDIA SCREENING – Wednesday 10th March, 7pm

  • Following the success of the last chlamydia screening session, WhiteKat is holding another event in the Southside Social Space
  • FREE food and soft drinks, FREE condoms, FREE boxers, FREE T-Shirts. You get the picture. All you need to do is pee in a pot.

HARD RAIN SCREENING – Thursday 11th March, 7pm

  • To tie in with the exhibition on the Queen’s Lawn of the ground-breaking Hard Rain exhibition, we are showing the DVD of the project in the Southside Social Space. It’s a thought-provoking look at the impact we are having on the environment, and is sure to inspire everyone that watches it!
